In Japan, Christmas is not a national holiday and is not traditionally a major celebration. However, in recent years, Christmas has become more popular in Japan, particularly among young people, and it is now more common to see Christmas trees, lights, and other decorations in cities and towns during the holiday season.

One aspect of Christmas that has become particularly popular in Japan is the concept of “Christmas cake.” Christmas cakes are often offered as gifts, and are also sold in stores and restaurants during the holiday season. These cakes are typically round or square, and are often decorated with whipped cream, fruit, and other sweets.
