6th Edition of the ONK Japanese Language Festival – Nihongo Matsuri in Utrecht

The ONK Japanese Language Festival (日本語まつり, Nihongo Matsuri) is back! This marks the 6th edition of this vibrant event, organized by the Dutch Association of Japanese Language Teachers (ONK) in collaboration with Japan Fans Utrecht. The festival will take place on Saturday, March 8, 2025, from 13:00 to 15:00 at Buurthuis In de 3 Krone in Utrecht.

The ONK Japanese Language Festival provides a fantastic opportunity for everyone interested in the Japanese language and culture. Whether you’re a beginner or advanced learner, everyone is welcome to join various activities tailored to five different skill levels. From interactive games, Japanese song sessions, and conversations to scenic walks and origami workshops – there’s something for everyone to enjoy and learn.

About ONK:
ONK (Oranda Nihongo Kyoshikai) is the Dutch Association of Japanese Language Teachers, established to support Japanese language teachers in the Netherlands and promote high-quality education. ONK organizes training for teachers, shares information about Japanese language education, and hosts events for learners.

About the Japanese Language Festival (日本語まつり):
The Japanese Language Festival is a dynamic event that has been hosted five times since September 2023. It gives Japanese language learners the chance to practice outside the classroom. During the festival, participants can immerse themselves in the Japanese language and culture, guided by experienced teachers and native speakers.
