Coffee & Korean is a pilot for a new study group, about Korean language & culture. Will you join us?
Japan Fans is excited to announce a new initiative called Coffee & Korean. This is a relaxed and friendly introduction to Korean language and culture (similar to our Japanese language cafe).
We know that many Japan Fans are also interested in Korea. They may be interested in the language, history, K-pop, or Korean dramas. That’s why we’re starting this pilot program.
Coffee & Korean will be held every Friday at 12pm in the last weeks of 2023. It will be held in the café at the Leidsche Rijn library in Utrecht (where we also hold our free Japanese lessons).
We’ll start with a brief introduction to Korean grammar and vocabulary. Then, we’ll have a conversation about a topic related to Korean culture. We’ll also have time for questions and answers with (a) native speaker(s). This is a great opportunity to learn more about Korea in a fun and relaxed environment.
If Coffee & Korean is a success, we’ll consider offering a more in-depth Korean language study group in our room, “Het Atelier,” in the Leidsche Rijn library, starting in 2024. So… we hope to see you there!
