Free Kanji Course – lesson eleven

Welcome to the eleventh lesson of our free online kanji course! With the help of carefully selected resources that are freely available online, we are going to remember all the kanji you need for JLPT level 5. Before we start with this lesson, let’s review all the kanji from the previous lessons! Do you still remember all of them? You can use our flash cards to help you in your learning journey.

Meaning: Flower, blossom
Onyomi: Ka [か]
Kunyomi: Hana [はな]
Vocabulary: 花瓶 – かびん – kabin – Vase

Meaning: Fish
Onyomi: Gyo [ぎࠂ[
Kunyomi: Sakana / Uo [さかな/うお]
Vocabulary: 金魚 – きんぎࠂ – kingyo – Goldfish

Meaning: Eye
Onyomi: Moku [߽く]
Kunyomi: Me [߼[
Vocabulary: 目的 – ߽くてき – mokuteki – purpose, goal

Meaning: Foot, to be sufficient, to add
Onyomi: Soku [そく]
Kunyomi: Ashi/Ta(riru)/Ta(su) [あし/た (ࠆࠅ/(た(す)]
Vocabulary: 満足 – ߹んぞく – manzoku – satisfaction

Meaning: Word, to talk
Onyomi: Gen/Gon [げん/ごん]
Kunyomi: I(u) [い(う)]
Vocabulary: 無言 – ߻ごん – mugon – Silence

Meaning: Old, used
Onyomi: Ko [こ]
Kunyomi: Furu(i) [ふࠆ)い)]
Vocabulary: 中古車 – ちࠀうこし߾- chuukosha – Used car
