The Japan Fans love Japanese art and therefore also Japanese music! That is why we organise all kinds of concerts – both virtual and live – and also make music at other Japanese events.
Whether it’s traditional instruments – like taiko and shakuhachi – or more Western ones – like the piano and the recorder – we are curious and want to explore all Japanese music!
On our website you will find Japanese music in the most diverse styles: traditional Japanese music, Japanese folk, music from Ghibli films, modern-classical music from Japan, computer game music, Japanese pop music and so on!

It is our dream to realise a Japanese cultural centre in Utrecht, where Japanese music can be heard every day.
